ABOUT JASON AIKENS

Jason Aikens is a lifelong resident of Winchester and Frederick County. He graduated from John Handley High School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from James Madison University in 2002.

Aikens lives in the Gainesboro District with his wife, April, and their two children. His campaign biography describes decades of work in his family’s hospitality, construction, and real-estate businesses.

BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE

Aikens serves as Vice President and Partner at Aikens Group, overseeing hotels, multifamily housing, commercial real estate, and construction projects in the Shenandoah Valley.

Before joining the Board of Supervisors, he served four years on the Frederick County Planning Commission. His public and community involvement has included Valley Health, First National Corporation, NW Works, the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, and the Winchester Frederick County Law Enforcement Foundation.

Aikens was appointed in January 2026 to fill an unexpired term as Gainesboro District supervisor. Frederick County lists his assignments as including the Finance Committee, Human Resources Committee, Transportation Committee, Economic Development Authority, and Tourism Board liaison.
